General characteristics

Standard sensitivity top coated thermal paper, not back barriered, produced without bisphenols (BP free). Good resistance to moisture and medium resistance against oil and fat. More sensitive to scratching.

Facestock is FSC™ certified (FSC Mix AEN-COC-000015). FSC Certification ensures that products are made from responsibly managed forests.

General characteristics

Permanent acrylic water based adhesive. Good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, including non-polar surfaces. Specially recommended for products that are deep-frozen after the label application. 

The research centre ISEGA has given the adhesive C-30 approval according to the European requirements for direct contact with dry and moist, non-fatty foodstuffs and compliance with the FDA, 21 CFR Ch.I(April 1, 2013 edition) 175.105 for direct contact with dry foodstuffs or they must be separated from the foodstuffs by a functional barrier.

Additional information

Exposition at temperatures above 50ºC may cause activation of the thermal layer.

Longer term contact with moisture, oil, fats or plasticizers and exposure to intense sunlight  may cause image fading.

Uses and applications

Recommended for thermal labels that require water resistance. It does not have resistance against oil and greases.

Shelf life

2 years, under storage conditions as defined by FINAT section 2.5 (20-25ºC, 40-50% RH).Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and/or humidity levels will shorten the shelf life of the product.
