HISTORY

Arconvert S.A. was founded in 1944, originally called Manipulados del Ter S.A., the first facilities located in Sarrià de Ter (Girona) Spain.

The main activity was the production of gummed paper, coated paper and special papers for printing, binding, sealing and covering.

The incorporation of specialised machinery allowed for an increase in the range of products, primarily focusing on the production of self-adhesive materials in the 1980s.

In 1993, Manipulados del Ter S.A, was taken over by Cartiere Fedrigoni, S.p.A.; in the same year, a new corporative image was launched using the abbreviation MANTER as their registered name.

At the end of 2006, after more than 60 years in Sarrià de Ter, Manipulados del Ter S.A. moved to their current facilities in Sant Gregori (Girona) Spain.

The new factory’s capacity alongside its modern technologies, make it a pioneering centre of production in its sector.

In October 2013, Manipulados del Ter S.A. changed its registered name to ARCONVERT S.A, keeping MANTER as the brand to identify the range of oenological and gourmet products (wines, beers, spirits, oils, etc).

The brand MANTER is also currently used by ARCONVERT S.p.A. (Italy) and Arconvert Lda. (Brazil).
